Just a few years ago a little black Patterdale terrier was sitting in his pen at The Dogs Trust feeling thoroughly fed up.

His name was Archie. and though he was only six months old he’d already been adopted three times but returned to the Trust on each occasion.

People said he was too naughty, or too jumpy, or too nervous. It seemed as if he was never going to find the right home.

Luckily for the little chap the next person to take a chance on him was writer and artist Mo Palios.

It took Archie quite a while to settle in, but while he was doing so he gradually revealed the kind of quirky character that writers delight in describing and artists love to illustrate.

The result is the ever-growing range of products featuring Archie and the many friends he’s found online. 10% of all profits from Archie merchandise go to The Dogs Trust, to help them continue rescuing dogs like Archie.Mo Palios

And, yes, he’s made himself very much at home these days.
